“At least more than 4.2 billion USD should be generated from tourism”, - Economy Minister Natia Turnava declares.

According to Natia Turnava, despite the big blow that the pandemic has inflicted on tourism, the mood is quite optimistic.

"We have good indicators related to tourism recovery. Our target is to generate at least $ 4,200,000,000 from tourism in 2025, while in 2030 we want to double the record of 2019 and reach $ 6,500,000,000.

As for the number of tourists, according to our forecast, in 2025 Georgia will host 10 million international visitors, and by 2030 at least 13-14 million tourists will visit Georgia. This means regional development", Natia Turnava announced at the presentation of the tourism strategy.
