Today, the increase in the number of our recovering citizens gives us a basis for cautious optimism. Today, this number has exceeded 2,000, - the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia said at the Interagency Coordination Council meeting.

According to the Head of Government, the process is fully manageable, the new model of clinical management works effectively, and doctors are doing their best to manage this process smoothly in the conditions of already quite a large number of infected people.

"Unfortunately, we all see that the number of infected people in the world, especially in Europe, is growing. In our country, too, the number of infected people is growing daily. Per 1 million inhabitants, compared to others within Europe, our outlook is more or less normal. However, this should not allow us to relax. Today, the increase in the number of our recovering citizens gives us a basis for cautious optimism. Today, that number has exceeded 2,000. I can emphasize once again that the process is fully manageable, the new model of clinical management works effectively, and doctors are doing their best to manage this process smoothly in the face of a large number of infected people," said the Prime Minister.

As Giorgi Gakharia stated, the strategy of point restrictions continues. He stated a direct connection between the effective wearing of the mask and the need for point restrictions.

"We are pursuing our point-and-shoot strategy, but we all need to keep in mind that wearing a headband and distance are critical. "The more our citizens wear masks, the less there will be a need for point restrictions, and we should all understand that," he said.
