Chair of the Sectoral Economics and Economic Policy Committee Davit Songhulashvili believes that "the economy should not be burdened with politics” and notes there must be a joint vision of the country's economic growth.
"The growth of the country's economy is in the interest of each of us. There should be a vision in which direction the country should develop and how it should become competitive with other countries.
Today economic growth is possible by attracting foreign direct investments, which is one of the most important components. This is important because borrowing is at a critical stage in terms of GDP. Therefore, if we want the economy to grow, we must see our competitive advantages and approach each investment individually. Our advantage is to be as flexible as possible in decisions and so, we will grow the economy," - Songhulashvili noted.
