Georgia reported 4 459 coronavirus cases, 3 957 recoveries, and 65 deaths on Wednesday, the official figures show from Stopcov.ge.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 740 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 843 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 358 cases.
A total of 51 321 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 32 187 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 19 134 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 8, 69 %, while 8, 91% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 850 102 among them 792 158 people recovered and 12 119 died.
There are 41 people quarantined, 6 545 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 125 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of December 1, 2 183 335 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 11 999 in a day.
