According to the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze, the so-called Booster doses have not been discussed yet.
"We have not yet discussed this topic with the council, but of course we will take into account the international experience and if there is a reference from the World Health Organization, the existing protocol will be changed. We are ready to take care of the additional doses that our citizens may need," - said the Minister.
According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the National Center for Disease Control, there is no general scientific conclusion on making booster doses yet, but the issue is being studied.
"It needs relevant observations and international recommendations will be published on this basis. However, Turkey has made a decision and is offering it to its citizens. We are watching. The main recommenders in this regard are: the World Health Organization, European regulators and other strict regulators, "- said Gamkrelidze.
