Wages will be increased to over 75 thousand citizens employed in the education system, - Ivane Machavariani, Minister of Finance has declared while submitting 2020 draft budget.
During the presentation, he talked about the education system and highlighted the importance of the program launched for the teachers this year.
“In October of this year, teachers' salaries increased by 150 GEL. Increase of 150 GEL is envisaged for qualified teachers in 2020. Remuneration for preschool departments will be also increased by 100 GEL. In total, remuneration of up to 75 thousand of our citizens will be grown in 2020. Thus, 140 million GEL will be spent in addition", - said Ivane Machavariani.
