Shota Shalelashvili, former member of the Parliament of Georgia, who left the MP mandate due to disagreements with the ruling party, does not rule out returning to Georgian politics.

As he told TV-program "Forbes Talks", he only left the parliament, and if he can form a team with common values, he will return to active politics.

"When I left the parliament, I did not announce that I left for politics. I only left the MP mandate, which belonged to the Georgian Dream. I will always stand where my place is. If I see that my place is in Georgian politics - I will be there. I never said that I will no longer be in politics. If our teammates get together with some common ideas and goals for the well-being of our country, maybe I will come back," Shalelashvili says.

Shota Shalelashvili held the position of a member of parliament from the "Georgian Dreams" faction in 2016-2019. On October 1, 2019, he officially left the parliamentarian's mandate based on a personal statement.
