We would like to see more American companies investing in Georgia and more Georgian companies - in the United States, - US Ambassador Kelly Degnan said during a virtual press conference.
She stressed the importance of a fair trial in attracting investors, noting that without it, businessmen would simply invest their money in another country.
"Businesses need to know that they are investing in a country that has a reliable judiciary, that their disputes will be resolved fairly and in a timely manner”, she said.
According to the Ambassador, the above is the reason why the United States has been working together with Georgia to create a judicial system for many years.
