According to Lasha Papashvili, the challenges posed by coronavirus will naturally reduce imports in the country, which is not good for the economy, but is good for the balance of the currency.

He told this in an interview with BM.GE.

"Now is the time to create our products, we must develop our backbone - the village," the businessman said.

“I think there will be less demand on the import after the virus is over, which is not good for the economy, but good for the country's currency balance. As you know, import exceeded three times to the local production through several decades, which destroys our economy. We couldn't understand it and the Lord had interfered - There is no need of so many luxury things, I can say the same about myself …

Too much clothing, houses, apartments or anything else ... balance has been made naturally. The path shows us where to go. We need to develop the backbone - the village first, to have a strong foundation ... Imports will diminish without physical efforts and now is the time to create our products, our backbone - the village must grow", said businessman Lasha Papashvili.
