"Law on Investment Funds is utterly essential for a greater development of the capital market" stated Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia at the Executive Government Meeting today.
According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, work has been completed and Draft Law on Investment Funds will be submitted to the Parliament of Georgia.
"Law on Investment Funds, which has been drafted for almost four years, has been completed successfully. Most important is to have a law, which is utterly essential for a greater development of the capital market.
Distribution of financial resources in the economy is effectively conditioned on the development of a capital market. We completed work today and respective Draft Law will be submitted to the Parliament. It will facilitate the development of economy in the country. It is most important for the advancement of a business environment in Georgia and for the attraction of foreign equity. It will be yet another step made forward. I wish to stress that development of the capital market and Law on Investment Funds will be most important for the distribution of equity in the economy of the country," concluded the Head of Government of Georgia.
