Imports of pyrotechnics down in Georgia in 2020.

According to Geostat, 3.5 million USD was spent on the acquisition of 985.1 t of pyrotechnics last year, the figures is 43.7% down y-o-y.

Pyrotechnics include fireworks, signal rockets, rain missiles, anti-fog signals and other pyrotechnic products.

It should be noted that in 2019, the country imported pyrotechnics worth 30.5% more comparing to 2018, and the value of 1,591.3 tons of goods amounted to 6.3 million USD, while the figure was 4.3 million USD in 2018.

The list of importing countries:

1. China - 1.7 million USD, 538.5 tons; Decrease - 28.1%;
2. Poland - 954.5 thousand USD, 290.3 tons; Decrease 27.5%
3. Bulgaria - 804.6 thousand USD, 143.0; Decrease - 63.3%;
4. Hong Kong - 36.4 thousand USD, 10.9 tons, growth - 71.1%;
5. Germany - 29.9 thousand USD, 2.2 tons, growth - 50%;
6. Turkey - 3.7 thousand USD, decrease - 72.4%

A total of 5.4 thousand USD worth of pyrotechnics were imported from other countries this year, while last year this number was 373.0 thousand USD.

The TOP-10 of the companies importing pyrotechnics is as follows: Bet Group Ltd; Temo Ltd; Leader Ltd.; Maxem Ltd; Three Brothers Ltd.; Enigma Fireworks Georgia Ltd; Mukhura Ltd; MMG Ltd; Kapaneli Ltd; BIUTI Ltd.
