Levan Davitashvili Replaces Natia Turnava As The Minister Of Economy
Changes take place in the government of Georgia. Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava is resigning. Turnava will be replaced by the Minister of Agriculture Levan Davitashvili.
Otar Shamugia, Deputy Agriculture Minister, will take on Davitashvili’s post.
Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili spoke about the changes in the Cabinet of Ministers at a briefing in the Government Administration.
Natia Turnava has been the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development since April 18, 2019. Levan Davitashvili has been the Minister of Agriculture until now. He is at the same time the Vice Prime Minister, the position that he retains.
