Like the government, NBG expects economic decline of 4% this year

According to Koba Gvenetadze, President of the National Bank of Georgia, the Central Bank has revised its economic growth forecast for Georgia in 2020. According to him, the country will have economic decline of 4% this year.

"The National Bank has made this forecast and according to our forecast, economic decline in Georgia will be 4% this year ," he said.

To remind, Georgian government predicts the same rate. However, the International Monetary Fund has been the first, which has forecasted the same rate of economic decline for Georgia.
