List Of Products Ukraine Prohibits Or Restricts For Exports
As of the decision of the Ukrainian government, the export of socially important food products from the country is banned. UNIAN writes based on the resolution of the Ukrainian government.
According to the publication, exports of meat, rye, oats, buckwheat, sugar, millet and food salt are suspended for the current period. However, the Ministry of Economy has issued a permit on the exports for 5 commodity items such as wheat, corn, chicken, eggs and butter.
UNIAN writes that according to the experts, escalating tensions between world leaders in crop production - Russia and Ukraine - would increase global food prices, which has already reached its historic high. In addition, this circumstance could force buyers of wheat, corn and sunflower oil to look for alternative supplies.
