We will maximally encourage businesses to implement new projects, - Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at the beginning of the government session.
According to him, new projects will be funded and the renewed program "Enterprise Georgia" will be presented by the Minister of Economy Natia Turnava today.
"Look at the neighboring countries and the trends in the region in general, there is no such growth in many places. There is a truly unprecedented growth in our country. Economic growth and economic recovery in the country is proceeding at a high pace. I would like to remind our people that as a result of the right steps we have taken, the economy of the country is recovering rapidly. We had a 45% increase in April, a 25% increase in May and an 18.7% increase in June, which of course is very good news for us. Accordingly, the 6-month rate amounted to 12.8%. In 6 months we have had unprecedented growth in the economy. I would also like to note that we will support the business as much as possible", - the Prime Minister said.
