Lopota Spa Resort is expanding with an investment of USD 6 million. Giorgi Kevanishvili, General Director of the company told Business Morning, that another 84-room hotel, conference halls, aquapark and jazz club, brewery (with billiards and bowling), two indoor tennis courts will be constructed on the territory of the hotel complex by the summer of 2023.

Implementation of new projects will begin in the spring of 2022.

"We had a rather aggressive expansion plan in 2019, but the pandemic halved the investment project. We will continue to implement the new plan from the spring. Today, Lopota employs 350 citizens, while their number increases up to 400. 90% of employees are locals. The new projects will allow us to employ an additional 100 people," Kevanishvili explained.
