According to a survey by the National Democratic Institute (NDI), majority do not know or do not say which party is closest to them. Only 35% of citizens named a political party closest to them. Declared support for individual parties is so low that they cannot be taken as a guide to the outcome of future elections.

As of the poll, 60% of respondents in February and 64% of respondents in March say no party stands close to them / do not answer the question.

26% of respondents in February 2022 thought that the Georgian Dream was closest to them, compared to 22% in a March survey.

As for the United National Movement, both in February and March, 7% of respondents thought that UNM is closest to them.

7% of respondents in February said that other parties were closest to them, while in March this figure is 6%.

According to NDI, the results reflect data collected between February 3-15 and March 9-20, through telephone interviews with a nationwide representative sample of Georgia’s adult population, excluding occupied territories. The February poll included 2,036 completed interviews, while the March poll included 2024 completed interviews. The average margin of error is +/- 1.8 percent (February poll), and +/- 1.6 percent (March poll). Respondents were selected using the random-digit-dial method.
