The Expropriation Commission has granted the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure the right to expropriate certain property on the grounds of urgent public need. According to the order signed by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava, it is clear that the case concerns the land in the village of Kveda Sakara, Zestaponi Municipality, which the owners refused to give up.

The order states that the agreement on the Road Department's voluntary redemption of real estate could not be reached on agricultural land (804.00 sq.m. and 2072.00 sq.m.) co-owned by Lia Bibilashvili, Iatamze Bibilashvili, and Viktor Bibilashvili.
As explained in the order, the non-concession of the mentioned land hinders such an important project as constructing the Shorapani-Argveta section of the expressway.

"The construction project of the Shorapani-Argveta (F-4) section of the E-60 highway should be considered as a project of public need, and the state sub-agency under the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - the Roads Department of Georgia should be granted expropriation.

For the following real estate located in the construction project area of Shorapani-Argveta (F-4) section: on agricultural land (2072.00 sq. m and 804.00 sq.m) co-owned by Lia Bibilashvili, Iatamze Bibilashvili, and Viktor Bibilashvili in Zestaponi municipality, in the village of Kveda Sakara," - the order of the Minister reads.

The parties have the right to appeal the decision in court.
