Vano Machavariani, Minister of Finance, confirms that “Rustavi 2”, “Imedi” and “Maestro” demand debt distribution for 10 years.
However, the minister notes, that the agreement is not achieved yet.
“We do not offer anything to anyone, we agree or not. This process is prolonged so long, because we do not agree that yet. The offer for 10 years is not achieved yet. So, it will become clear whether it will be 10, 7 or 5 years. Accumulation of debt is not normal”, - the Minister declares.
To remind, Imedi, Rustavi 2 and Maestro own a debt of 55 million USD towards the budget. The news has been released that they demand distribution of the debt for 10 years.
