In January-September 2021, the amount of money transfers to Ukraine amounted to $10.339 billion, the data of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reveals.
In September 2021, the volume of private money transfers to Ukraine from abroad reached $1.266 billion, Ukrinform reports.
The National Bank took into account in its statistics both official and unofficial channels for the inflow of funds into Ukraine. In January-September 2021, $5.951 billion was transferred to Ukraine through traditional channels and $4.388 billion through unofficial channels.
In January-September 2020, the amount of money transfers to Ukraine amounted to $8.636 billion.
