2 150 000 GEL will be invested in the project of fiberglass and basalt fiber enterprise, which is supported by the state in western Georgia - specifically in Zestaponi.

As the Minister of Economy, Natia Turnava, said after the government session, this is another project approved within the framework of the "Enterprise Georgia" program, which will employ more than 60 people and directly employ more than 20 people in the factory.

The project of the fiberglass factory will be implemented by Ajamura Ltd., for which the company will be given a non-agricultural land plot and buildings located in Zestaponi at a symbolic price of one GEL for direct sale within the framework of the "Enterprise Georgia" program.

According to the company, this will be one of the first enterprises in western Georgia to start producing fiberglass fittings. The plant will produce 5,000,000 longitudinal meters of different diameters annually, which are planned to be sold in both local and caucasian markets.

According to them, fiberglass and basalt fiber reinforcement is a relatively new product that has a wide prospect of distribution - fiberglass reinforcement is a unique and innovative building material, which is made of fiberglass and various polymers.

The company claims that today, fiberglass fittings are successfully used in construction and road works, including repair and reconstruction works, as well as shore protection works, bridges, dams, etc.
