Vlad Bezhashvili, a managing partner of the management consulting company Ebit Group, believes that uncertainty is a serious problem for businesses, as it is difficult for them to make real predictions in this situation.
As he noted in his interview with "Business Morning", the current situation is added by the heavy burden on GEL exchange rate, which has a clear negative impact on business.
"Close communication between the government and business is a crustal issue. The government must represent a plan, what steps we are taken to overcome the crisis and what we should expect in the next period. I understand it is difficult to develop a plan in such a situation, but it is important. More transparency is needed to know what the government is going to do. The business must know what they do in a short-term period. They need to know that the situation is under control”, Bezhashvili explained.
