Russia-Georgian trade in Q3 2020 amounted to US$318 M, of which export from Russia was US$ 204 M and imports - US$114 M, decreasing by 3.4% compared to the same period the prior year.

Export from Russia has declined by 10%, while import has grown by 10.95% during the reporting period as compared to Q3 2019. With 21%, mineral products lead the list of major exported goods from Russia to Georgia, while prepared foodstuffs; beverages, spirits, and vinegar; tobacco is the top imported products from Georgia to Russia, sharing 47%. 
 
Export and import from Russia to Georgia worth US$ 267M during Q1 2020, US$276 M during Q2 2020, and US$318 during Q3 2020, totaling US$ 861 M.
 
According to Ru-Stat, export from Russia to Georgia in Q3 2020 amounted to US$204 M, decreasing by 10% compared to the same period last year. 
 
The major exported goods from Russia to Georgia incorporated: mineral products - 21%, vegetable products - 20%, prepared foodstuffs; beverages, spirits, and vinegar; tobacco - 12%, products of the chemical or allied industries - 10%, machinery, and mechanical appliances; electrical equipment; sound and television - 9%, base metals and articles of base metal - 6%, articles of stone, plaster, cement, asbestos or similar; ceramic products; glass and glassware -5%, animal or vegetable fats, and oils and their cleavage products - 4%, wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal; cork and articles of cork - 3% and plastics and articles thereof; rubber and articles thereof - 3%.
 
Import to Russia from Georgia in the 3rd quarter, 2020 amounted to US$114 M, an increase of +10.95% over the same period last year. Mainly imported goods from Georgia were as follows: prepared foodstuffs; beverages, spirits, and vinegar; tobacco - 47%, base metals and articles of base metal - 25%, vegetable products - 23%, machinery and mechanical appliances; electrical equipment; sound and television - 2% and textiles and textile articles - 1%.
