Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili declares, that the tender for Anaklia port must be re-evaluated and find the investor, which is a prerogative of the Ministry of Economy.

Journalists asked the First Vice Prime Minister at what stage is the most important project of Anaklia Port and the tender to be announced.

"Today we must all take into account that we have a pandemic, the situation is less predictable in the world and not only in the direction of economic prosperity in Georgia, because this project has never been only a local one. The project should facilitate trade between the partners around Georgia. The issue of Anaklia will return to the investors’ agenda along with the recovery of regional geopolitics and world economy," said Maia Tskitishvili.
