Nadi Group To Invest € 1.2 MLN In Snail Farm Expanding

The snail farm, located in the village of Khibula in Khobi Municipality, plans to invest EUR 1.2 million in the expansion in 2022.

According to Merab Nadaraia, the founder of the farm management company "Nadi Group", in 2022 the snail farm will be expanded from 14 to 20 hectares, as a result the farm's productivity will increase to 400 tons.

In addition, "Nadi Group" jointly with foreign investors is developing a multi-year development plan for the farm, which includes expanding the farm to 60 hectares, which production capacity will be 1,000 tons of snails.

"Nadi Group" currently produces 60-70 tons of products annually. The farm operates since 2018 and employs 45 people.
