Information is spreading on the social network for several days, that a full "lockdown" will be announced in the country from January 3, under which the movement of private cars will be banned.
Representatives of the media asked the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development whether it is planned to tighten the restrictions and will it affect the current business activities, including beauty salons. Natia Turnava says that such a thing is not considered.
"I can tell you that shutting down beauty salons is not planned, but we see that the restrictions already have positive results. It is true that the death toll is still high because we have many difficult patients, but the number of infected is declining and this is precisely due to the restrictions. Shopping malls have shown high discipline, rules are observed, queues are controlled, people are wearing face masks, and so on. All this has yielded positive results. We will consider and decide what will happen after January 3rd. At this stage, there is no discussion about closing the beauty salons," Turnava said.
However, business activities allowed from December 24 will be restricted from January 3.
