Marina Ezugbaia, medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Hospital, said that one of the new cases of coronavirus detected in the last 24 hours has been confirmed in their center. Ezugbaia noted that this case is linked to the Marneuli cluster.

“The new cases of coronavirus have been recorded largely in Adjara, mostly linked to the Kobuleti cluster, however, some cases detected in Imereti region as well. 2 or 3 new cases reported in Tbilisi,” Ezugbaia said.

Georgia has confirmed nine new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 266. According to the official data, 67 patients have fully recovered from the virus. Three people died. Currently, 4872 people remain under quarantine and 453 – in inpatient care.
