New Restrictions in Turkey – Info for Travelers

According to the decision of the Turkish government, from September 6, 2021, new restrictions will be imposed across the country to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The Turkish Embassy in Georgia publishes information on the changes that will take effect on September 6:
 
"During intercity travel by plane, bus, train or any other public transport, the citizen is required to submit either: certificate of full vaccination through the application "Hayat Evev Sığar- HES Kodu", proof of having overcome covid infection in the last 6 months, or negative PCR test taken in the last 48 hours. This restriction does not apply to persons traveling intercity by private / passenger car.
 
In addition, cinemas, theaters, concert halls, and other public places will also require the same proof.
