The number of completed objects was down in Georgia in Q1, 2020, - show the preliminary data by Geostat.
According to official declared data, 562 objects (16,1% more compared to the same months of previous year) of 341,9 thousand square meters (18,5% less compared to the same months of previous year) were completed in January –March, 2021.
More than half of the total completed construction are distributed in 4 regions of the country, namely: 30% is located in Tbilisi, 13,2% - in Kakheti region, 13% – in Kvemo Kartli region and 10% - in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region.
Geostat reports, that 1931 permissions granted were issued in January-march, 2021 (15,5% less compared to the same months of previous year) for construction of buildings of 1301,2 thousand square meters (15,4% less compared to the same months of previous year).
