In 2022, 26 048 marriages have been registered, which is a 12.5 percent increase from the corresponding figure of the previous year, - according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

The mean age of first marriage in 2022 equals 29.4 years for females and 31.9 years for males.

The number of divorces in 2022 equaled 14 098 increasing by 32.3 percent compared to the previous year.
