26 217 people have been vaccinated against a new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in Azerbaijan on January 22, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers said.

The number of people vaccinated at the first stage of vaccination is 2 621, at the second stage is 2 791, APA reports. The number of Booster doses is 20 805.

The total number of vaccines in the country is 11 791 254, the total number of people vaccinated in the first phase is 11 791 254 and the number of people vaccinated in the second phase is 4 727 150.

The number of people vaccinated with the Booster dose is 1 852 022.

Today, Azerbaijan has confirmed 1614 new coronavirus cases, 610 recoveries, and 16 deaths over the past 24 hours.

The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 632 034 with 611 766 recoveries and 8597 deaths.
