PMC Research Centre reports that in April 2022, the share of persons receiving a monthly salary up to GEL 600 amounted to 22.8%, which was 2.2
percentage points less than the corresponding period of 2021, and 9.6 percentage points lower than the corresponding period of 2020.
As of the research center, in April 2022, the share of persons receiving a monthly salary of more than GEL 2,400 amounted to 18%, which was 1.4 percentage points more compared to the corresponding period of 2021, and 7 percentage points higher than the corresponding period of 2020.
In April 2022, the number of persons receiving a monthly salary higher than GEL 9,600, increased by 11% compared to 2021 and 119% compared to 2020. The share of persons receiving a monthly salary of more than GEL 9,600 amounted to 1.5% in April 2022.
