“One investor cannot develop a country, even he owns the whole world money”, Badri Japaidze has declared to TV-program Business Morning.

As Japaridze says, the ruling team believes that one billionaire can solve many problems.

Japaridze notes, on contrary it raises numerous problems. The founder of the public movement Lelo explains, competitive environment and qualified investors are needed for country’s development.

“Today, the ruling team has mental problem, if investor enters or leaves, we have one investor, who has so many billions. This utterly absurd expectation is the next determinant of the errors they make. Because, one investor cannot develop a country, even he owns the money of the whole world.

The country develops if there is a competitive environment and there are qualified investors, who are different from "rich" people. A qualified investor invests money in different countries and has the standards that the company must meet. Consequently, the company makes regulations and enhances the culture of doing business,” says Badri Japaridze, co-founder of the public movement Lelo.
