As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained one person on the fact of storage and selling of large amount of excisable goods subject to marking, without excise marks.
As a result of search and seizure, 367 units of non-excised STIX electric cigarettes containing nicotine, intended for sale, were seized. Total market value of seized goods exceeds GEL 7 340.
Investigation is underway under the second part of Article 200 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 4 to 6 years.
