Online grocery shopping application Rocket Man will be launched on the Georgian market soon, which will enable customers to buy groceries remotely.
Akaki Pirpilashvili, the founder of Rocket Men told TV- program Business Morning that it will be an online supermarket, where the consumer will buy food products at a lower price compared to the ordinary market.
According to him, initially, the application will cover Tbilisi, and in the future, it will include the whole Georgia.
"Rock Man will not have physical locations, large warehouses and obligation to pay rental fees. Moreover, we will not have to hire the same number of staff, so we can be able to sell the product at a lower price. The startup will have small warehouses where suppliers will bring the product. The application allows us to control the stocks, and our couriers manage to deliver in a short time, from half an hour to forty minutes. Now we are in the stage of testing the application," - says the founder of Rocket Man.
Akaki Pirpilashvili also talks about the necessary investment and as he notes, the funds were used for the creation of the application and the purchase of inventory.
"We found a certain part of the funds from personal capital, however, we also appealed to TBC Bank. The bank financed us within the framework of "TBC Startup", which allowed us to expand," he notes.
"Rocket Man" is a beneficiary of TBC's startup program.
