According to the medical director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Marina Ezugbaia, out of 18 new coronavirus cases, 7 cases are contacts of infected patients, 11 are imported cases, of which 2 are truck drivers.

According to Ezugbaia, at this stage, out of 220 active patients, three are critically ill.

For the record, 18 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Georgia and the total number of infected people reached 1487. The number of recoveries has increased by 19 and now stands at 1240. 5524 citizens are in quarantine, 221 are under supervision in the hospital.
