The lari depreciated as a result of the June 10 trade. The change in the exchange rate against the US dollar was 2.26 tetri, as a result of which the official value of the dollar became 3.1613 GEL.
According to the NBG, the national currency depreciated by 1.87 tetri against the euro, as a result of which the official value of one euro became 3.8460 GEL.
Today, the lari depreciated by 0.44 tetri against the Turkish lira, as a result of which its value became 0.3704 GEL. The cost of the British pound sterling increased by 0.68 tetri and amounted to 4.4568 GEL.
The rates obtained as a result of today's trading will take effect from tomorrow, June 11th.
During 2021, the NBG conducted a total of 7 currency auctions to reduce the volatility of the GEL exchange rate and sold $ 242.9 million.
