Parents can choose the remote learning model for their school student children being in grades 1-6 in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Poti and Gori.
The study process will resume in classrooms in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Poti and Gori starting October 1 – Natia Mezvrishvili, Head of Governmental Administration said during the briefing.
According to Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education, the system will be maximally flexible and the interests of parents will be taken into consideration.
Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during the governmental sitting that normal lifestyle should be restored in the country and that pupils, especially of primary schools, should return to the classrooms.
