By November 12, the Parliament will elect an independent auditor to conduct an external audit of the Pension Agency's 2021-2022 reports.
The technical proposals filed by the audit firms participating in the tender were opened today by the competition commission, which was chaired by Irakli Kovzanadze, Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee.
Deloitte and Touche LLC, Ernst & Young Global Limited, and PwC Georgia are three of the Big Four audit companies competing in the competition.
One of these three will conduct an audit of the reporting for the years 2021-2022.
The audit company KPMG conducted the external audit of the Pension Agency for 2019-2020, as is well known.
