Pfizer Vaccine Will Be Allowed From the Age of 16 – a New Protocol

An updated vaccination protocol has been published in the Legislative Herald, according to which the use of Pfizer or mRNA vaccine will be allowed for persons over 16 years of age.
 
"Vaccination is given to persons 16 years of age and older, the course of vaccination consists of 2 injections, the interval between vaccinations is at least 21 days," - says the updated protocol.
 
With the change in vaccination age, the guidelines for people with COVID have changed and who can now be vaccinated within 30 days of recovery.
 
The decision on the relevant change was made by the Coordinating Council of the Government yesterday. It aims to increase the number of people willing to be vaccinated.

According to stopcov.ge, 6,586 people were vaccinated yesterday, compared to 11,000 on Monday. In total, a total of 374,685 doses of the vaccine have been administered since March 15. 133,648 people have been fully vaccinated.
