We will all remember the launch event of the Tbilisi Central Park project and in two years, when this project is completed, when Tbilisi, like many capitals of the world, will have an exceptional green zone, of course, we will all meet there once again and celebrate this day, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia stated during his speech at the presentation of the Tbilisi Central Park project.
While discussing the Tbilisi Central Park project, the head of the government stressed that Bidzina Ivanishvili's extremely important, signature way of personally serving the public is evident here as well.
"Taking part in today's event is very important. We will all remember the launch event of the Tbilisi Central Park project and in two years, when this project is completed, when Tbilisi, like many capitals of the world, will have an exceptional green zone, of course, we will all meet there once again and celebrate this day. We must all understand that the project has already started and in two years, Tbilisi will have such a space. [Tbilisi Mayor] Kakhi [Kaladze] has already spoken about the importance of creating ecologically green zones for the city and, of course, many successes are noticeable in this regard; however, at this point we must also note Bidzina Ivanishvili's merit, his signature, which is evident here as well. This is an extremely important, signature way of personally serving the public and caring for one's people. Of course, the Central Park is not the only illustrative example thereof. We may recall the Batumi Botanical Garden, the Tbilisi Botanical Garden, the Dendrological Park, the Tbilisi Central Park and, of course, we must not forget the Mtatsminda Reforestation Project as well," Giorgi Gakharia stated.
According to the Prime Minister, in addition to the ecological component, all this includes a change in the lifestyle of each citizen – every single citizen of this country.
"We will simply have spaces where our children will grow up and we must all remember that today, during the pandemic, while Georgia and the entire world are fighting this challenge, we all understand the importance of the green zones that must be created throughout the country. Of course, this is yet another example of charity for which, as Kakhi stated, we must thank Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili. In addition, I would like to wish the City Hall success – I am certain that this project will be implemented within the set timeframe and another important green zone will be added to the city. I congratulate you, first and foremost the residents of Tbilisi, the citizens of Georgia, and especially the resident of Saburtalo," the head of the government stated.
