The working visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia to Switzerland continues, namely to Davos, where the World Economic Forum is being held. On the one hand, the Prime Minister holds meetings with world leaders, and on the other hand, there are meetings with various large international companies, which are interested in the investment climate and environment of our country, - said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili in Davos.
According to him, at the same time, the Prime Minister is participating in important discussions held within the framework of the World Economic Forum.
"At the same time, the Prime Minister is participating in important discussions held within the framework of the World Economic Forum. The discussions, in which the Prime Minister has already participated, were leaders' informal lunch where new opportunities for global cooperation were discussed, as well as challenges that exist in the world.
The second discussion, which was also held with the participation of the leaders, including the Prime Minister of Georgia, was about the issue and importance of the new energy reality. As you know, today this is one of the most important issues, and the leaders talked about how the countries should communicate as closely as possible, so that in the new environment, the countries can cooperate very actively, for the effective diversification and maximum distribution of energy resources between the countries," said Ilia Darchiashvili.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the head of the government will participate in the final part of the World Economic Forum, the most important discussion, together with other leaders.
"The President of Azerbaijan and European Commissioner Johannes Hahn will also participate in the mentioned discussion and it will be moderated by the Executive Director of the World Economic Forum, Mirek Dušek. The main goal of the discussions is to show the world the potential that our region has and what role our country and our region can contribute to the further strengthening of Europe's energy security and further diversification of the energy resources supplied to Europe," said Ilia Darchiashvili.
