The employees the Investigative Service of the Finance Ministry of Georgia have detained two foreign citizens.
An investigation has revealed that the detainees imported and used 20 pcs of 500€ fake bank notes in Kvemo Kartli region of Georgia. Police have seized €10 000 worth of counterfeit bank notes.
An investigation is underway under provision II, Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. The crime envisages from 7 to 10 years of imprisonment.
