The President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili has appealed to the authorities to make vaccination mandatory for risk groups.
"I appeal to the government to take urgent and strict measures - mandatory vaccination for risk groups, introduction of a Covid passport for entering public spaces and even paid treatment for non-vaccinated people. I call on the media to increase the number of programs to cover this issue", - Salome Zourabichvili said.
The President also appealed to the Patriarchate that the Church must give a clear example to the parish.
"I oppose it and moreover, I consider it unacceptable to return to the restriction of economic activities and any closure, it is unacceptable, because it will damage the country's economy," said Salome Zurabishvili.
