Member of the Parliament Beka Liluashvili says that the government has left the citizens without attention and spent all its resources to maintain power.

As Liluashvili noted in his speech at the plenary session, the prices hit a historic high in Georgia and the unemployment rate exceeded 20%.

"During the whole period, when the government often used immoral methods, political persecution or threats, as well as dirty and immoral campaigns, prices in the economy were up by 13% and hit a historic high for the last 11-12 years. For example, chicken price is up by 25%, buckwheat – 35%, sugar – 35%. In addition to that, fuel price increased by 23% from GEL 2.70 to GEL 3.33. I will not mention 23% unemployment rate”, - Beka Liluashvili said.

MP also noted that they heard unbelievable assessments from their colleagues regarding the legitimate, fair and exemplary conduct of elections.

"Citizens, who were left without attention could change their reality by voting, but you took it away from them," Liluashvili said.

According to Geostat, the unemployment rate stood at 22.1% in Q2.
