Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze declares that wider public use of Sinopharm vaccine will be considered this week.
“We are waiting for additional answers from the World Health Organization, because we already know that "Sinopharm" is waiting for authorization in mid-April. We hope that the registration module will be available from April 15, but the decision made by the Immunization Council is important," - said Tikaradze.
In addition, the Minister explained that two doses of Sinopharm vaccine are needed for effectiveness.
100,000 doses of "Sinopharm" were shipped in Georgia on April 3.
