Kakha Kiknavelidze, who was the CEO of Bank of Georgia in 2016-2019, has been an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Ameria Bank, the largest bank in Armenia, since August 2020.
 
In an interview published by the bank, Kiknavelidze noted that it is a Western-style organization by corporate governance standards, which is currently preparing to go public on an international stock exchange, making it the first organization from Armenia.

"This region and the financial services sector are attractive to international investors, and Ameria Bank has all the characteristics and components to become the first Armenian bank to go public on the London Stock Exchange or any other international financial exchange," said Kakha Kiknavelidze.

The loans of the Armenian banking sector amount to 3.7 trillion Armenian drams, of which Ameria Bank has the largest loan portfolio of 696 billion drams. The total assets of the bank are 1.09 trillion drams. In 2020, the bank had a net profit of 8.4 billion drams.
The banking system of Armenia consists of 17 banks in total.
