Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze has not yet named the exact date of delivery of Pfizer doses to the country, but says that there is an agreement with the company to supply 1 million doses. However, the minister said that first, additional doses of AstraZeneca vaccines will be introduced.
"We are working intensively with Pfizer and an agreement has been reached on 1 million doses; At this stage, we are working to determine the doses and dates of when Pfizer will deliver the agreed doses. As for "Moderna", we are working on it, but at this stage we can not provide specific information to the public, because these negotiations are in progress.
"AstraZeneca will come first, then Pfizer" the minister said.
