The Ambassador of Georgia to France, as well as the Permanent Representative of Georgia to UNESCO, Gocha Javakhishvili, echoes the ongoing processes in the country and publishes a public post:

"Europe is not only a geographical space surrounded by borders. Europe is primarily a set of values. Europeanness is commitment to these values. Georgia, which I serve, is neither only the government nor only the opposition, neither one nor the other combines the country's past, present and future.

Only the people, its history, culture determine such a fundamental mission of the country as its spiritual and cultural identity. The European future of our homeland is the will and testament of our ancestors.

By understanding the past and the future, Georgia will be faithful to the European path. I serve this way with my modest work. This is my belief and the position of a citizen. I have defined this mission and I serve Georgia's European affairs. I don't understand any other way or affair," - wrote Gocha Javakhishvili.
