According to the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, 6,179 tons of peaches and apples were exported from Georgia, which is 640 tons more comparing to the same period of the previous year.
According to the agency, the figure for exported peaches and apples was 5,539 tons in the same period of 2019.
The main export countries of Georgian peach and apple are Russia (61% - 3,796 tons), Armenia (30% - 1,857 tons) and Azerbaijan (7% - 417 tons).
Exports are also made to the Republics of Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Moldova and Singapore (2% - 109 tons).
